[01] Hazel Brown - The Perturbed Parent

"Alright. Sunscreen on. NOW. No 'buts' about it!"

Constantly worried and industrious, Hazel Brown is the anxious mother of our protagonist Max Brown (whom she hovers over contstantly). Having to cope as a single parent since her son's infancy, she's grown up independent and pushy - traits that hamper Max's attempts to conceal his werewolf nature from her prying gaze. Her glasses hide a pair of tired eyes - worn out from years of jumping from chore to chore without much reprieve.

She generally perceives herself as having already exceeded her heyday, and is content with her day job as a no-name, minor accountant. In her free time (a rare occurance), she likes to embroider Max's many identical hoodie sweaters.

Hazel rarely makes trips to the beach - but she always has something fitting set aside for some occasions.

And so starts our "Sunny Days"!

My mission is to draw - mostly according to their order of appearance in LWM - every woman that has appeared and will appear in the comic, each wearing swimwear that speaks the most about them! These are sort of like bios as well!

Our first lady to be featured starts things off conservatively - Hazel has never exactly been modelling material, and I think we're all thankful that she's has a sensible head on her shoulders. (plus, she doesn't want Max's eyes to burn)

You know how the old adage goes: More is less! _{(Um, wait...)}

It was fun to experiment with an older character in this manner - I'm not used to balancing modesty and beaches as a concept. In any case, I think she has the right amount of coverage and practicality - you won't find any flashy sling bikinis here (thank God).
